Eighteen clubs, seventeen picks.
Nine clubs per conference make the playoffs. Seeds 8 and 9 meet in a wild card match. Round One is best of three: 1 v the wild card, 2 v 7, 3 v 6, 4 v 5. Then one match each round: conference semifinals, conference finals, MLS Cup.
Pick the winner, then how it’s won.
Pick the winner of all 17. For a bonus, add how it goes: in Round One, 2–0 or 2–1; in a single match, won in 90 minutes, in extra time or on penalties. Wild cards have no extra time. The bonus counts only when the winner is right.
A pick scores when its club wins that spot in the bracket, whoever it actually played.
How it scores.
Points double each round, so MLS Cup alone is worth as much as all eight Round One series.
| Round | Games | Winner | Bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wild cards | 2 | 1 | +1 |
| Round One series | 8 | 2 | +1 |
| Conference semifinals | 4 | 4 | +1 |
| Conference finals | 2 | 8 | +1 |
| MLS Cup | 1 | 16 | +2 |
Up to 84 points in all.
Ties on points go to the closest guess at the total goals in MLS Cup, extra time included and the shootout left out (0–12). Still level: a shared rank.
One lock, no scramble.
Everything saves as you go. The whole bracket locks at the first wild-card kickoff, and whatever is saved then is your entry. A partial bracket scores what it has.
Play it with your crew.
Add the Playoff Bracket to a crew and it gets its own crew board, beside the global one. Once the bracket locks, everyone in the crew can see every pick.
